I trained at North Staffordshire Hospital, after qualifying as a dental nurse in 1994 I worked with Orthodontic practice. It was here that my interest in practice management was ignited and four short years later I joined Steve Lomas as his Practice Manager when he opened his new practice in 1998.
Since then, the practice has grown and a second practice was established together these practices employ a team of 42.
I have continued to develop my career and expertise in this ever-changing, demanding and incredibly fascinating industry.
I have continued to my experience and practice management qualifications over the years which has helped me to become an award-winning professional.
I am involved in all aspects of the practice, these include:
Practice Manager of The Year
I was so proud to be awarded Practice Manager of the Year 2015 by The Association of Dental Administrators and Managers. The following year I was able to add Practice Manager of the Year at the prestigious Dental Awards and I have helped our Practice to win Best Practice UK, Best Patient Care UK and Best team UK amongst many more fantastic awards that have demonstrated the well-deserved recognition for the whole team.
I have spent over 2 decades as a successful practice manager. I am gained a wealth of experience and now able to distribute much of my knowledge to a wider audience in my role as President of The Association of Administrators and Managers (ADAM).
Public Speaker
I often speak at dental shows and professional events throughout the UK on a wide range of practice-related topics including:

- Team Building
- Complaint handling
- Marketing
- Customer Service and patient journey training
In addition to running my own Dental Consultancy business, helping other practices succeed and grow, I am also a Judge for the prestigious Dentistry Awards and The Dental Awards, judging varied categories.
